alaganik field trip
It's included in your festival registration fee, but we will need an accurate head-count in order to arrange appropriate transportation to this scenic wetland viewing area on the Copper River Delta. If you did not already indicate so on your registration form, please click the button below to add your name to the Alaganik Field Trip list!
birders' mixer cocktail hour cruise with major marine tours
Major Marine Tours is hosting this fun on-water event on Saturday night of the festival! They'll be free appetizers and a cash bar on board, plus expert guides to help you get the most out of your on-water experience. Space is limited. The cost for these events are NOT included in festival registration, and must be paid to the company or organization putting on the event. If you register for the full festival first, you can use your Payment Confirmation Code to receive a Festival Registrant Discount!
SHOREBIRD ART & HAND-CRAFTING WORKSHOPS WITH THE NET LOFT
The Net Loft is an amazing handcrafting and fiber shop in Cordova, well-known for their classes and workshops. Separate Workshop Registration through their website is required for all Net Loft classes & most classes fill prior to festival. Cost is not included in Festival registration (but ask for the 10% Festival Registrant discount). Space is limited!

ABUNDANCE OF BIRDS: MANY FACES OF THE MAASKAAQ
Join Ilanka Cultural Center staff and make a clay mask with feathers representing the cultural significance of birds in local Native culture. Class is two-part and held in the Native Village of Eyak building. Separate Registration through their office is required and cost is not included in Festival registration (but ask for the Festival Registrant Discount!) Space is limited.

SHOREBIRD AIRBOAT TOURS
Enjoy a scenic airboat trip down the Eyak River on your way to a birder's paradise. 2-3 hour trip. Cost is not included in festival registration (but ask for the Festival Registrant discount!)
